Pure Search is partnering with a leading global investment management business to appoint a Tax Associate into its EMEA Tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional looking to move into, or further develop their career within, the investment management sector. Sitting within a global tax function across London and New York, the role offers broad exposure across both tax compliance and advisory , with the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
The role:
- Managing and supporting direct and indirect tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Corporation Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing and Withholding Tax matters
- Working closely with external advisers, auditors and internal entity controllers
- Supporting tax accounting and ensuring the accurate recording of tax items within financial statements
- Assisting with tax planning, tax audits and projects arising from legislative changes
- Supporting the tax structuring of investment transactions
- Monitoring investment structures from a tax risk perspective
- Preparing internal tax documentation and supporting interactions with tax authorities
- Contributing to projects focused on improving tax processes and systems
What we are looking for:
- Strong corporate tax background
- FS experience ideal but, not a must
- An ideal first move in-house (or a role for someone already in-house)
