Pure Search are instructed on an exciting and rare senior opportunity with one of the leading Patents practices in Europe.
The Firm: Our client is a leading international law firm with strengths in TMT, Life Sciences, Energy and Consumer Products. From an IP perspective, they have one of the most prominent IP practices in Europe and are considered a 'one-stop-shop' for both Patents and Soft IP, with a large and balanced team of lawyers and patent/trade mark attorneys. The firm are at an exciting point in their next chapter in terms of the growth of the IP practice, making it an exciting time to join, with significant growth plans for 2026 and beyond.
The Role: The role will see you advise across patent disputes, with a focus on regulatory matters (obtaining, maintaining, and enforcing patents), with scope to also advise on the broader IP litigation spread. The role will ideally suit someone who is looking to work for one of the best IP practices in Europe, with clear ambitions of developing your own practice and being at a firm with a track record of backing senior lawyers towards partnership. The role will have a strong client-facing element, with the opportunity to take the lead on client matters from an early stage, and will therefore suit someone with confidence and a proven track record in business development.
About You: You will either be an experienced Associate looking for a step up to Senior Associate or an existing Senior Associate with ambitions of working for a top tier practice and a genuine hunger to develop a client network/following. Previous experience of TMT or Life Sciences disputes in the IP space would be beneficial, although candidates with broader IP backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. In addition, studies/qualifications in biochemistry, pharmacology or engineering would be beneficial.
