An international law firm is seeking an experienced Partnership Tax Manager to join a high‑performing tax function within its Tax Department. This role offers broad technical exposure, senior stakeholder interaction, and the opportunity to shape tax processes within a complex partnership structure.

Role Overview

You will work closely with senior members of the tax leadership team and take responsibility for delivering high‑quality tax compliance and advisory support to both the partnership and individual partners. Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership tax returns - Manage preparation of the firm’s tax computation, partnership return and basis period reform adjustments.
  • Year‑end tax reserving - Support year‑end reserving and preparation of partners’ capital accounts.
  • Compliance cycle management - Oversee day‑to‑day partnership tax compliance, including HMRC payments and correspondence.
  • Audit support - Assist with reconciliations, journals, and audit requirements.
  • International tax support - Contribute to compliance for overseas branches.
  • Pillar 2 and CbC reporting - Assist with reporting obligations and transfer pricing matters.
  • Process improvement - Drive automation, tax technology and workflow enhancements.
  • Ad hoc projects - Support a wide range of partnership‑related initiatives.

  • A recognised qualification: ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent.

  • Advanced Excel capability (pivot tables, complex formulas, data validation, conditional formatting).
