We are supporting a Head of Tax looking to expand their team. The position covers all aspects of corporate tax, including compliance, reporting, advisory support, and involvement in a range of ad‑hoc and project‑based work. This role can be offered on a full or part time basis, with very flexible working options.
We are looking for candidates with a strong track record in corporate tax compliance.
- Corporate Tax Compliance
- Preparation and review of UK corporate tax returns and computations.
- Managing corporate tax compliance obligations and ensuring filings are accurate and submitted on time.
- Liaising with external advisors and HMRC as required.
- Monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing their impact on the business.
- Preparation of corporate tax provisions and disclosures for statutory accounts.
- Supporting group tax reporting requirements, including deferred tax calculations where applicable.
- Assisting with quarterly and year‑end tax reporting processes.
- VAT, employment tax and stamp duty.
- Involvement in tax‑related projects such as acquisitions, disposals, integrations, or international expansions.
- Supporting process improvements, automation, and efficiencies within the tax function.
- Assisting with tax audits, enquiries, and risk management initiatives.
