A market-leading international industrial business is seeking a commercially-minded finance leader to join a strategically important division operating at the heart of a complex, commodity-sensitive supply chain.

Sitting within a highly visible leadership team and reporting to the Finance Director, you will combine commercial finance, pricing strategy, market insight and long-term planning to help shape business decisions across a multi-billion-pound operation. Working closely with senior operational, procurement and finance leaders, you will play a key role in understanding market dynamics, driving pricing strategy and ensuring the business can successfully navigate changing economic and commodity conditions.

The Opportunity

  • Leading pricing strategy and margin management activities across the business.
  • Developing market assumptions and supporting long-term strategic planning.
  • Delivering financial modelling and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
  • Providing insight on market movements, pricing trends and commercial opportunities.
  • Influencing senior stakeholders and constructively challenging business assumptions.
  • Supporting the ongoing development of integrated planning and forecasting processes.
  • Driving simplification and improvement of complex finance and reporting processes.

We are interested in speaking with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong commercial finance, FP&A, pricing or strategic finance experience.
  • Previous responsibility for pricing, profitability, margin management or forecasting.
  • Experience operating within a commodity-sensitive or cost-driven environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong financial modelling and scenario planning capability.

Hybrid working is 1 - 2 days a week in the London office.
