We are supporting a group looking at expanding their Tax team. They are looking for a Group Tax Manager to join them. We're looking for strong corporate tax compliance and reporting experience; the Head of is happy to teach the advisory/broader tax work.

Tax Compliance & Reporting

  • Prepare and review UK corporate tax returns.
  • Support VAT, CIS, P11Ds, stamp duty, and other UK/Irish tax filings.
  • Assist with personal tax return data collection.

Tax Accounting & Audits

  • Support tax accounting for monthly and quarterly management accounts.
  • Assist with tax-related parts of statutory audits.
  • Manage tax audits and respond to queries from tax authorities.

Tax Projects & Risk Management

  • Handle group tax claims (e.g. capital allowances, R&D, losses).
  • Help identify tax risks and put controls and processes in place.
  • Keep tax documentation up to date and support external reviews of high-risk items.
  • Work closely with accountants, the Finance Controller, CFO, and external advisors.
  • Help improve systems, processes, and tax software as work moves in-house.
  • Keep up to date with tax rules and share knowledge with the wider team.
  • Provide ad‐hoc support on finance and tax projects as needed.
