Pure Search are partnered with a UK headquartered media company looking to hire a Group Tax Manager to be based in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of consolidated tax disclosures for annual and interim financial statements under IFRS, including current and deferred tax calculations and supporting notes.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of corporate tax filings for a portfolio of UK entities, working closely with local finance teams and external advisors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Support international tax planning initiatives, with emphasis on transfer pricing strategy, intercompany recharges, and efficient structuring of global operations.
  • Coordinate the development of R&D tax relief documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders and specialist consultants.
  • Manage quarterly and annual tax reporting obligations, including CT61 returns, PAYE Settlement Agreements, and short-term business visitor disclosures.
  • Administer residency certificate requests and provide guidance on withholding tax matters to mitigate exposure across jurisdictions.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for tax-related queries across the group, covering corporate, indirect, and employment tax matters.

Requirements:

  • Broad UK tax knowledge across corporate tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing.
  • ACCA/ACA/CTA or equivalent qualified.
  • Ability to travel to London 2/3 days a week.

The role is full time with a hybrid offering – 2/3 days a week in the London office. The role is paying up to £85,000 + 15% bonus.
