This newly created role has been created to drive further growth through strength in compliance with the hire of an Ethics & Integrity Manager. This individual will lead and enhance their approach to ethics, conduct, and compliance across the organisation and its related entities. It is a strategically important role, responsible for shaping a strong culture of integrity, ensuring full regulatory compliance, and fostering an environment where employees feel confident to speak up. The role operates with significant visibility, partnering closely with senior leadership, the Board, and key external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the organisation’s ethics and integrity programme, including Code of Conduct and core compliance policies
- Ensure effective coverage across key areas such as anti-money laundering, fraud prevention, whistleblowing, and complaints handling
- Embed ethical standards into business processes and organisational culture
- Provide clear, practical guidance to ensure timely and effective implementation
- Advise on matters relating to PEPs, sanctions, and suspicious activity reporting
- Identify and assess ethics and conduct risks across the organisation
- Monitor trends and provide insightful reporting to senior leadership and governance forums
- Support the ongoing development of a strong compliance culture
Candidate requirements:
- Knowledge and experience of technical compliance topics including AML, Fraud, whistleblowing, as well as operational compliance
- Experience to design and deliver compliance training programmes
- Collaborative approach and strong comms skills to work well with other functions
- Influence senior leaders in championing a positive compliance culture
- Industry (infrastructure, property, construction, housing) and FS experience of interest
