We are seeking an experienced tax professional to take ownership of a broad direct tax portfolio across multiple jurisdictions. This senior role is responsible for compliance, reporting, governance, and strategic tax input across the organisation. You will act as a key advisor to Finance and business teams, while also supporting process improvement initiatives designed to modernise tax operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Advisory & Cross‑Functional Support
- Work closely with commercial, finance and operational teams to evaluate the tax implications of new projects and business changes.
- Offer insight and support on cross‑border transactions, structural changes, and exposure to permanent establishment considerations.
- Tax Accounting & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and complete tax accounting under IFRS, including preparation of disclosures and review of direct tax balance sheet items.
- Maintain high‑quality supporting documentation and ensure data accuracy throughout the reporting cycle.
- Prepare forecasts, briefing materials and analytical tax insights for senior stakeholders.
- Compliance Management
- Oversee timely preparation and submission of direct tax filings for the UK and international territories.
- Manage external advisors where required and complete filings internally where appropriate.
- Ensure robust processes are in place for associated returns and statutory obligations.
- International Tax (Including TP)
