What You’ll Be Doing

  • Taking the lead on high‑impact, fast‑moving advisory projects, staying ahead of global indirect tax developments and advising the business on key implications.
  • Driving the indirect tax strategy—managing risk, identifying opportunities, and unlocking cash efficiencies.
  • Managing communications with HMRC and international tax authorities, including audits and enquiries.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to support new commercial ventures, strategic decisions, and accurate VAT treatment.
  • Collaborating closely with the VAT compliance lead to embed legislative changes and strengthen reporting processes.
  • Delivering engaging VAT training and championing tax awareness across the organisation.
  • Helping promote and support strong diversity, equity, and inclusion values within the team and wider business.

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience in indirect tax advisory, ideally across both UK and EU VAT.
  • Background in retail or e‑commerce is highly desirable.
