About the Role
Play a pivotal role in one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects and help shape the future of clean energy. We’re seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join our growing finance team. This is a critical position where you’ll lead on indirect tax compliance and strategy, ensuring robust processes and VAT efficiency across a complex, evolving megaproject.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee UK indirect tax and Importer of Record taxes, ensuring accurate VAT handling.
- Partner with Supply Chain to optimise VAT efficiency and manage risk.
- Lead compliance, reporting, and governance for indirect taxes.
- Engage with HMRC and other stakeholders to ensure timely submissions and resolve queries.
- Provide expert advice on indirect tax legislation and its impact on business transactions.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks, implementing controls and process improvements.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in international indirect tax; customs experience desirable but not essential.
- SAP expertise is essential.
- Excellent technical knowledge and ability to manage complex compliance processes.
