This role sits within a regional tax function responsible for delivering indirect tax compliance across multiple territories. The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end VAT and withholding tax processes, ensuring accurate, fully reconciled filings supported by robust audit documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing VAT, WHT, and statutory filings (e.g. Intrastat, EC Sales) across EMEA
- Performing reconciliations between ERP systems and tax reporting outputs
- Maintaining audit-ready documentation and adhering to strict internal controls
- Acting as a key contact for regional stakeholders on tax data queries
- Supporting system and process improvements, including ERP transformation initiatives
Candidate profile:
- 2+ years’ indirect tax/VAT compliance experience, ideally in a multinational or shared services environment
- Working knowledge of UK/EU VAT rules
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or tax engines (desirable)
