We are supporting an established asset manager looking for a VAT specialist to join their team. This is a standalone indirect tax role, reporting into the Head of Tax. Given the standalone nature of the role, we are looking for someone who is happy to be hands-on with compliance as well as involved in advisory and project-led work. The role will cover:
- VAT compliance oversight
- PAYE settlement support
- Process implementation and transformation work
- Monitoring changes in tax legislation and communicating updates to the wider group where required
What we are looking for:
- VAT specialist
- Financial services experience preferred β the business has partial exemptions agreed with HMRC, so experience in this area would be advantageous
- In-house and/or practice experience
