We are supporting an established in-house tax team, looking at a new hire. This is a corporate tax role covering tax compliance and reporting. The role would suit an individual who is part-qualified. Your experience could come from a practice or in-house firm.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of tax reporting for statutory accounts, including current and deferred tax under IFRS/UK GAAP
- Ownership of corporate tax compliance processes, including preparation/review of tax returns
- Liaising with external advisors on compliance, reporting and technical queries
- Supporting the year-end and quarter-end reporting process
- Assisting with tax audits and responding to HMRC queries
- Maintaining strong controls and documentation across tax processes
- Supporting wider tax projects, including process improvements and ad hoc advisory work
Key Requirements
- ACA / CTA / ACCA part-qualified (or equivalent)
- Background in corporate tax
- Strong exposure to tax reporting and/or compliance
- Good understanding of UK tax fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
