We are partnering with an exceptional client in London to hire a structured finance professional. This individual will work alongside the Corporate Finance team on origination, structuring, and execution of complex financing transactions. This role focuses on identifying and executing on diversified funding solutions to support new investment and refinancing.
We are looking for an experienced individual who is commercial, entrepreneurial and a proven business partner with stakeholders with demonstrated experience of transacting at pace. We are looking for an individual with 10+ yearsβ experience in structured finance, within heavy industries, shipping, commodities or similar. They will have:
- A strong track record of leading end to end complex structured transactions.
- Strong modelling & structuring experience.
- In depth knowledge of debt, leasing and equity linked funding mechanisms.
- Proven and excellent communication & presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to partner with senior stakeholders and external funders.
Candidates will have demonstrated experience in some of the following areas:
- Infrastructure or upstream project financing.
- Production-linked financing structures.
- Equity and equity-linked schemes.
- Green and sustainability-linked finance.
- Sale and leaseback transactions & JOLCO structures.
- Export Credit Agency-backed loan facilities.
Key focuses of the role include:
- Originating, structuring, and executing structured finance transactions to support investment, refinancing, and de-risking initiatives, as well as other group businesses.
- Building internal and external stakeholder management relationships.
- Identification and partnering with capital providers (including banks, ECAs, pension funds, PE firms, lessors and institutional investors).
- Develop tailored financing solutions with commercial strategies and broader regulatory objectives.
- Lead end to end negotiations including due diligence, execution of term sheets, financing agreements and commercial contracts.
- Develop innovative ways to track market trends and data insights to support long term capital planning & funding.
