A leading international, multi-entity organisation is seeking a Senior Group Accountant to join its Group Finance team during a period of transformation and growth. This role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders, complex group structures, and cross-border operations. You will own accounting and financial control for the UK holding entities while supporting wider group reporting, financing, and governance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage UK holding company accounting, including monthly reporting and reconciliations
- Account for group financing arrangements, including intercompany funding and external debt
- Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation across entities
- Support group consolidation and reporting cycles
- Assist with audit, compliance, and statutory requirements
- Contribute to process improvements and finance transformation initiatives
About You:
- Experience in a complex, multi-entity environment (ideally within the retail/FMCG space)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Exposure to group reporting, consolidations, and multi-currency environments
- Experience in private equity-backed or leveraged businesses is advantageous
Hybrid working for this role is 1 - 2 days in Hemel Hempstead.
