I am working with a leading professional firm who are seeking a partnership tax professional to join for a 6 month contract, with a temp to perm possibility. You’ll support the delivery of partnership tax compliance by reviewing detailed computations and returns, while acting as a key contact for client data queries. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll help resolve issues and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinating and reviewing a wide range of partnership tax compliance assignments, including reviewing computations, returns, and tax treatment.
- Managing client queries relating to data requests, including reviewing follow‑up questions and liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Leading and supporting teams across both onshore and offshore locations.
- Organising, monitoring, and managing your own workload as well as that of your team.
- Supporting the development of colleagues through delegation, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
- Working closely with advisory teams to enhance and promote the compliance offering.
- Preparing and managing budgets, including negotiating fees for new or repeat engagements, aligned with standard pricing structures and the firm’s financial and risk management requirements.
- Collaborating with others to manage large volumes of data and exploring opportunities to use data‑management tools such as Alteryx.
- Strong tax skills and technical knowledge relating to the preparation of partnership tax computations and returns.
- Tax literacy, ideally with experience using tax software packages.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Alteryx is beneficial but not essential.
- A highly professional approach and commitment to delivering quality work in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Self‑motivation and strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing client environments.
- The ability to work effectively within a team.
This role can be based in a number of locations across the UK.
