Pure Search is instructed by a leading US law firm and one of the leading Venture Capital practices globally, and is looking to grow their team with a mid‑level hire.
The Firm
Our client is a Silicon Valley‑headquartered law firm with a global reputation as a leader in Venture Capital. The firm holds deep roots in the innovation economy, guiding many high‑growth companies and the investors behind them from inception through to scale and exit. The firm’s venture practice is distinguished by long‑standing relationships with top‑tier funds, and an established flow of work with emerging technologies.
The Role
Working with a number of the most exciting high‑growth companies globally, as well as some more established global brands, you will advise a range of entrepreneurs starting new businesses, advise on the formation of companies and equity structures, negotiate with investors and play an active role in helping companies scale and exit.
About You
You will be a mid‑level (3PQE+) corporate lawyer, ideally with some experience of venture capital transactions. You will have gained your post‑qualification experience at a leading US firm in London or a Magic/Silver Circle or other leading international firm. This experience may have been gained predominantly across general corporate law but you will have gained some experience that touches on venture capital, which will have ignited a spark in you to want to pursue this career path for the long‑term.
