Pure Search are exclusively instructed by one of the most highly-regarded Data Protection teams globally, who are looking to add two mid-senior level hires in their London office. The Firm: Our client is a full service international firm with their HQ in London, with particular strengths in TMT. They work with a number of the world\’s leading global tech and media companies, as well as a range of exciting and dynamic growth-tech start-ups. The Data Protection team have played a key role in developing and implementing hundreds of GDPR compliance programmes across the UK and Europe, advised multinational tech companies on GDPR and privacy compliance, and increasingly play a key role in the development of AI and machine learning technologies. This is an incredibly varied role where you will advise a range of clients from FTSE100 retailers through to multinational banks, media and entertainment conglomerates and pharmaceutical companies. The Role: Taking on a role with significant international remit, you will provide advice concerning: GDPR programmes Launches of tech-based products and advice around the GDPR compliance of launches; International data transfers Advising on cyber risk incidents and misuse of private information Data subject access requests A range of adtech, ed-tech and financial services including payments, creatives industries and life sciences. About You: You will be an England & Wales qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years post-qualification private practice experience of Data Protection matters at a leading international law firm. You will have clear aspirations to work for one of the leading names in the data space and have a genuine interest and curiosity towards the growth and development of AI and its impact on the data protection space.
