Overview Competition Litigation Associate – 1-4PQEThe Firm Pure Search are one of only two agencies instructed by a leading commercial litigation practice looking to grow their competition disputes team with two junior to mid-level hires.The Firm:Our client is a leading disputes practice who are one of the fastest-growing disputes practices in the UK over the past 5 years. They stand out in the market for a significant degree of their work bringing about positive social change, with many of their cases attracting significant public interest.The firm\\\’s Competition team resolves a range of competition disputes through litigation and ADR, and advises businesses on regulatory compliance in the competition space. They are a City firm with an excellent retention rate, competitive remuneration package and a genuine respect for their lawyers having a work/life balance.The Role You will represent clients before both UK and European regulatory and judicial bodies, with a broad spread of work across competition litigation, merger control and regulatory disputes. You will find yourself advising on a range of anti-competitive agreements, market investigations, state aid claims, and abuses of dominance.About You You will be a qualified Solicitor from a Commonwealth jurisdiction, particularly candidates from England & Wales, Australia and New Zealand. A large number of the firm\\\’s partners and associates have joined from larger City law firms. You will ideally have experience of competition disputes, although this is not essential, whilst experience at the Competition Appeals Tribunal or Competition and Markets Authority would also be beneficial.
