Pure Search are instructed on a rare and exciting opportunity with a leading name in the international sports arena.

The Company:

Our client is a full service international law firm with one of the leading sports practices globally, working with some of the leading international football clubs, sports governing bodies, media rights holders and broadcasters, sports agencies and elite international athletes.

The Role:

This a rare opportunity to pivot away from a commercial law or non-contentious IP background and make a long-term move into the sports space, joining one of the leading sports practices globally.

You will advise on sponsorship, licensing, live events, endorsement deals, player transfers, managerial appointments, supply of goods and services, influencer and digital media agreements. You will be exposed to some of the leading names in sport, ranging from Champions League football clubs to England international footballers, leading F1 racing teams and prominent sports governing bodies.

About You:

You will be an England & Wales qualified Solicitor with between 1-4 years post-qualification experience. Our client will also consider exceptional NQs with existing sports or media experience. You will ideally have gained exposure to commercial IP, commercial contracts or data protection at a leading Legal 500 ranked practice. Previous experience of sponsorship, broadcasting or live events would also be beneficial.

Given the nature of this role and the expected demand, applications will close on 24 December 2024 , with a shortlist being drawn up for interview between Christmas and New Year, with 1st stage interviews taking place at the start of January.
