A global manufacturing group is looking to appoint a Tax Technology Manager to play a key role in the digital transformation of its tax function. This position sits at the intersection of tax, data, systems, and automation, offering wide exposure across direct tax, indirect tax, and international compliance.
The Role
As Tax Technology Manager, you will support the development and optimisation of tax technology solutions across the group, helping to modernise processes and improve data quality, reporting, and control.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting BEPS Pillar 2 and CBCR technology solutions, including data collection, validation, and reporting processes
- Managing global e‑invoicing mandates and supporting the group’s VIDA readiness
- Enhancing the indirect tax (VAT/GST) technology framework across jurisdictions
- Supporting transfer pricing automation, including data flows and intercompany processes
- Leading the implementation and optimisation of direct tax technology tools
- Driving wider tax data transformation, automation, and visualisation initiatives (e.g. dashboards and reporting tools)
About You
You will bring a strong blend of tax and systems knowledge, with the confidence to manage technology‑enabled change across an international organisation.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in tax technology, tax transformation, or a hybrid tax and systems role
- Solid understanding of VAT, direct tax, or transfer pricing
- Hands‑on experience with tax and data tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Onesource, SAP, Vertex, or similar platforms
- Confidence managing data‑driven projects and collaborating with finance and IT stakeholders
- Strong communication, project management, and problem‑solving skills
