I’m partnering with a UK‑headquartered global investment management firm seeking a Product Tax Assistant Manager to join their team on a 9‑month FTC. This role supports the tax affairs of UK, Luxembourg and Irish‑domiciled public‑market funds, combining technical fund‑tax advisory work with oversight of outsourced compliance. You’ll work closely with product, investment and operational teams, providing tax support across the full fund lifecycle while ensuring effective governance and cross‑border compliance. This is a hybrid role, 3 days per week in Central London.
What You’ll Do
- Provide tax input across the UK, Luxembourg and Irish fund ranges, advising on product, investment and operational tax matters.
- Manage outsourced international tax compliance, including European investor reporting and global tax agency filings.
- Oversee withholding tax reclaims and relief‑at‑source processes.
- Support fund launches, mergers, restructures and closures.
- Resolve complex operational tax issues and monitor global tax developments, communicating risks and opportunities to the business.
- Maintain strong relationships with custodians, administrators and external advisors, while supporting internal tax policies and controls.
- Contribute to cross‑functional projects and collaborate with tax colleagues across the wider group.
Qualifications & Experience
- CTA, ATT, ACA or ACCA (or equivalent).
- Exposure to investment‑management tax issues.
- Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
