Pure Search are instructed by a leading City law firm looking to grow their International Arbitration practice with a junior-mid level hire at 2-5PQE.
The Firm:
Our client is one of the fastest growing firms in London over the past decade, with a number of key senior hires from leading US and international law firms. Distinct from their US counterparts, the firm are able to offer a better work/life balance and a proven track record of promoting from within. The firm are also highly ranked for their Disputes practice, with a number of their lawyers ranked by Legal 500.
This is a newly created role to work with a range of partners where you will become the go-to associate for arbitration work.
The Role:
You will be exposed to a range of international arbitrations under major arbitration rules including UNCITRAL, ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SIAC, CIETAC, SCC, WIPO as well as trade arbitration arbitrations such as LMAA and GAFTA, acting for both claimants and respondents. The team's work is incredibly varied, spanning infrastructure, oil & gas, energy, real estate, leisure, insurance and projects. The wider Disputes practice also does a range of work across retail, consumer, sport and IP.
This is a chance to come in and put down a marker as the go-to associate for arbitration work, working closely with a former US law firm partner and knowing that you are being backed internally to develop and progress.
About You:
You will be an International Arbitration Associate at a leading City, US or international law firm with between 2-5 years post-qualification experience. You will be at a stage where you are craving an opportunity where you be given the space and freedom to stand out, with a clear pathway ahead of you for progression and genuine respect for a work/life balance away from the office.
