This is a hands-on role combining US tax compliance oversight, reporting and advisory support, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisers. The position offers excellent exposure to complex investment structures in a collaborative, commercial environment.

US Tax Compliance

  • Oversee US federal, state and local tax compliance across the group and relevant investment vehicles.
  • Review US tax returns (e.g. manage compliance for US investor reporting, including PFIC, FATCA, withholding and other disclosure obligations).
  • Coordinate tax filings and payments, ensuring deadlines are met and risks are managed.
  • Act as the primary US tax point of contact for the business.
  • Provide practical advice on US tax implications of new investment structures and transactions.
  • Review and comment on legal documentation from a US tax perspective.
  • Monitor US tax legislative and regulatory developments and assess impact on the business.
  • Manage relationships with external US tax advisers.
  • Partner closely with UK tax, finance, legal and operations teams.
  • Support tax governance, documentation and internal controls.
  • Assist with tax authority queries and audits as required.
