Pure Search are one of only two agencies instructed by a leading international law firm who are looking to grow their Commercial Litigation team at 2-5PQE.

The Firm: Despite their presence and stature internationally, our client represents a relative anomaly amongst the larger City firms, with no billable targets and a clear focus on their lawyers having a genuine work/life balance away from the office. Joining the firm's Commercial Litigation team, you will be exposed to a range of litigation and arbitration, with a clear focus on Technology, Media and IP disputes. The team is well-balanced and established, with partners taking a hands-on investment in their associates' time and career development.

The Role: Acting for a broad range of clients, from major multinationals through to innovative start-ups, you will be exposed to matters including:

  • Commercial Litigation
  • IP and IT Disputes (focus on copyright litigation - No previous IP experience is required)
  • Contractual Disputes
  • Digital Media and Confidentiality Disputes
  • Financial Services and Corporate Disputes

Recent work within the team has included advising on one of the most high-profile tech cases in the UK, an appeal in excess of £1bn in an international arbitration, and advising a leading advertising brand in a digital media dispute.

About You: You will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years post-qualification experience from a leading City or international law firm. Our client is looking for someone that is a strong litigator and, whilst no previous experience of TMT disputes is required, you should have a clear interest in the tech, telecoms and media sectors. The team place a big emphasis on their lawyers taking control of matters and are particularly interested in associates who have taken a leading role on matters.

For more information, please contact Daniel Diamond. Please note, there may be a delay in responding to applications so you are encouraged to share your CV through LinkedIn in the first instance. Your CV will not be shared with our client without direct contact from us first.
