Senior Manager – Global Transfer Pricing

The Role
The Global Transfer Pricing Senior Manager will act as the organisation’s technical expert on transfer pricing. You will play a pivotal role in shaping TP strategy, leading advisory and controversy work, and owning global TP audit and compliance processes. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone seeking broad exposure, technical depth, and strong business partnering opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial
- Support development and implementation of the global TP strategy, including assessing tax and business changes and setting short- and medium-term objectives.
- Build strong relationships across finance, legal, and operational teams to proactively manage tax risk and support growth.
- Provide forecasting, risk analysis, and provisioning support to corporate tax stakeholders.
Technical
- Lead major TP advisory projects from planning through implementation, partnering with cross‑functional teams.
- Manage complex TP controversy matters, including strategy, audit engagement, documentation, and negotiation.
- Oversee global TP compliance, working closely with regional tax teams and external advisors.
- Monitor OECD developments and TP legislation in key markets, advising on risks and opportunities.
- Ensure robust TP documentation and operational processes.
Systems & Processes
- Coordinate tax‑related projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement, utilising technology and established process‑enhancement tools.
Skills & Experience Required
- Extensive in‑house TP and international tax experience, ideally within a large multinational environment.
- Strong OECD‑based TP expertise, especially in intangibles, value chain analysis, and business restructuring.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement practical, robust TP policies.
- Broad experience with TP controversy (audits, APAs, MAPs) including negotiation and audit management.
- Proven track record managing global TP compliance across diverse jurisdictions.
- Ability to balance technical rigour with operational pragmatism.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and regions.
- Excellent project management capabilities with a high degree of ownership.
- Ability to operate autonomously and think commercially.
