A global business is seeking a Tax Senior to join its in‑house tax function. The role can be based in London, Manchester or Birmingham and sits within a collaborative team responsible for delivering high‑quality tax reporting and compliance support across multiple jurisdictions.
The Team
The in‑house tax team manages statutory tax filing requirements across the UK and internationally, working closely with external advisors, tax authorities and internal stakeholders to maintain a consistently high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- UK & international compliance — Support the completion of income tax, corporation tax, VAT, tax provisioning, tax relief claims and tax payments.
- Authority liaison — Communicate with tax authorities regarding partner and entity tax matters.
- Cross‑border coordination — Work with offshore finance teams and external accountants on UK and international tax compliance.
- Compliance calendar management — Review annual statutory deadlines with advisors to maintain an accurate compliance timetable.
- Tax payment calculations — Assist with preparing and calculating tax payments.
- WHT compliance — Request certificates of tax residence for withholding tax purposes.
