Pure Search are partnered with a highly acquisitive FTSE 100 business that are looking for a commercially minded Assistant Tax Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing tax returns is an important part of the role, the process utilises significant data automation and the outsourced finance centre, freeing you up to actively manage the risk profile.
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the Group’s products to ensure they are adopting an appropriate tax treatment.
- Providing advice to commercial teams on how to make the products more tax efficient.
- Liaise with Accounts Payable and Treasury teams to ensure that tax payments are made on time.
- Develop relationships across the business, ranging from Finance to Regulatory Compliance, to be their first point of contact for a range of diverse queries.
- Administer the risk assessment process for our international markets.
- Responding to queries or audits from tax authorities in various jurisdictions and external/internal auditors.
Needed:
- 3 years of tax experience
- ACA or CTA qualified
- Tax compliance experience is essential
