Pure Search are instructed on a rare and exciting opportunity for an ambitious junior arbitrator looking to join one of the leading arbitration practices globally. It is a role which will involve extensive international travel and exposure to commercial arbitration, investment arbitration and arbitration-related litigation.

The Firm:

Our client is widely-regarded as one of the standout names in the arbitration market globally. They are recognised as global leaders by Chambers and Legal 500, having acted in numerous international commercial and investor‑State arbitrations, conducted under leading arbitration institutions, including ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, LCIA, and SCC.

Many of the firm\’s lawyers are multilingual and, whilst this role requires a fluent English speaker, additional language skills in French, Spanish or Portuguese would also be beneficial, but not essential.

The Role:

Our client is looking to hire two junior arbitrators (NQ-1PQE) with clear aspirations to work for one of the best arbitration practices globally.

The role will expose you to both commercial and investment treaty arbitrations, with a significant number of cases across Latin American, Europe and the Middle East. You will be exposed to a broad and diverse client base ranging from international pharmaceutical, engineering, construction, investment and telecoms companies through to a range of international states.

The role will involve opportunities for regular international travel, or even relocation for the right candidate, and therefore will suit a candidate who is comfortable with this.

About You:

You will be a junior associate (NQ, 1 or 2PQE) with at least 6-months arbitration experience at a leading international law firm (highly ranked by Legal 500). You will have qualified/be approaching qualification in England & Wales or Ireland, with a clear desire to work for one of the best arbitration practices globally.

You will have a consistently strong academic record and should be someone that\’s intellectually curious. In return, you will join a dynamic and growing practice where you will be supported to grow and develop as a leading arbitration lawyer.
