Location: Thorpe Park, Leeds
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week. We offer hybrid working, with an expectation that employees attend the office at least three days per week (Monday to Friday).

The Role Overview:
Working as part of our Finance Team, under the leadership of the Group Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be motivated and detail-orientated with a keen interest in working within the finance sector and looking to study towards AAT qualifications and beyond.
Key Outputs:
- Entering purchase ledger transactions, matching invoices to purchase orders on Sage 200 accounts system for all companies across the group.
- Importing sales ledger transactions, entering completion revenue on Sage 200 accounts system for all companies across the group.
- Ensuring purchase orders are in place for all purchases and that the correct processes are adhered to.
- Completion of bank statement transactions on Sage 200 accounts system for all companies across the group.
- Monitoring multiple email inboxes, directing emails to the correct team members across the finance department for all companies across the group.
- Allocating sales receipts to sales revenue and purchase payments to purchase expenditure on Sage 200 accounts system for all companies across the group.
- Working alongside the ‘Senior Finance Assistant’ to offer support through tasks within the department.
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required by the business.
The Person Overview:
A presentable and organised individual, with enthusiasm to learn and develop whilst in the role. This role will require liaising with different departments in both sales and purchase ledger transactions, so a confident individual with communication skills would be preferred. Full training will be provided so no finance background is required, although preferred. Full study support will be provided for the right individual.
Skills & Experience:
Mandatory:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Can work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisation, time management and multi-tasking skills are required for this role.
- Good attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Experience of accounting software, in particular Sage 200 would be desirable.
- Experience of working in a busy finance team.
