Protection Insurance Sales Manager (Life, CIC, Income Protection)
Up to £60k Basic + Uncapped Bonus, £125k+ OTE
We're looking for an experienced protection insurance professional to join an award-winning, highly respected financial services provider in a senior sales / management capacity.
You will have the opportunity to stay close to the client, writing and managing your own book of protection business, but also have responsibility for leading and developing a team of protection brokers.
You'll work closely with a team of mortgage brokers, ensuring protection advice is treated as a core part of the client journey - not an afterthought bolted onto a mortgage conversation. Whether you're hands-on with clients or leading others who are, you'll be central to building a best-in-class protection proposition across Life Insurance, Critical Illness, and Income Protection.
This is a role for a genuinely experienced protection professional who takes pride in doing right by clients, is commercially minded, and is motivated by strong earning potential and the opportunity to make the role their own.
Responsibilities:
Leading, coaching, and developing a team of protection brokers, driving performance, conversion rates, and quality of client outcomes across the team.
Providing tailored protection advice across Life Insurance, Critical Illness, and Income Protection, and managing your own pipeline of cases from first conversation through to completion; or
Working closely with Mortgage Brokers to ensure a joined up, professional client experience
Building trusted relationships with clients and/or embedding a consultative, client first culture across the protection team
Acting as a subject matter expert on protection products, keeping the business up to date with market and product developments
Maintaining the highest standards of compliance and client care throughout
Contributing to the ongoing growth and strategy of the protection proposition
Experience required:
R05 qualified (Highly desired)
