Location: City of London (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a highly organised, detail driven Financial Planning Assistant to play a key role in delivering a seamless client journey from prospect through to ongoing service, for a leading HNW financial services provider.

This is a junior role, suiting someone with 6 – 18 months experience in a financial planning / wealth administration role, looking to join a dynamic wealth management team.

This is a pivotal position supporting advisers across all stages, ensuring everything is accurate, compliant, and client ready.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing client cases end-to-end (onboarding / servicing)
  • Preparing files, fact finds, and documentation for adviser meetings
  • Handling AML/KYC checks and onboarding processes
  • Submitting and tracking new business and transfers
  • Maintaining CRM records and keeping pipelines moving
  • Supporting advisers with tools like FE Analytics and Voyant
  • Liaising with providers to drive cases forward

Experience required:

  • 6 – 18 months experience in working for an IFA practice in a financial planning / wealth management support role
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Degree educated
  • Outgoing personality, team player
  • Confident communicator with a client first approach
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
