Overview
Our client is a leading international manufacturer with a thriving digital team, and they are looking for a Power Platform Developer who wants their work to matter. The apps you build will be opened every day by real colleagues solving real problems, from project delivery teams in the field to decision makers poring over your Power BI dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Digital Development Manager and work alongside the Senior Power Apps Developer, sharing responsibility for designing, building and improving the digital platforms at the heart of how the business operates.
- Design, develop and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate solutions that people genuinely rely on.
- Build and support Azure Function Apps, APIs and integrations that connect Dataverse, SQL databases, Salesforce and other business platforms.
- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards that turn raw data into decisions.
- Support web development with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
- Spot manual processes that deserve to be automated, then automate them.
- Work directly with stakeholders across the business, from gathering requirements to running demos and supporting user training.
- Assist the wider team with training sessions and documentation.
Qualifications
- At least five years of experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Commercial experience in software development, application support or digital solutions.
- Solid SQL knowledge and an understanding of data management principles.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Familiarity with Azure services and tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Strong communication skills to explain technology to developers and non‑technical colleagues.
- Bonus points for experience with C#, .NET, Azure Function Apps, Salesforce integrations, Git, Microsoft Fabric, relevant Microsoft certifications, and Agile delivery environments.
