Our client, a well-established and highly respected professional services firm, is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead and oversee all financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional with strong leadership capability and deep experience within professional services.

The Opportunity

As Head of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the firm’s financial integrity, performance and compliance. Leading a team of six—covering cashiering, purchase ledger, billing and credit control—you will provide steady operational management alongside strategic financial insight. You will act as the firm’s subject matter expert on accounting, ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulatory frameworks. This role offers a blend of hands-on financial control, team leadership, and partnership support, making it a highly visible and influential position within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the firm’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity and timely reporting.
  • Produce monthly MI reporting packs, KPIs, and performance monitoring for the firm.
  • Prepare annual profit and equity-sharing accounts for the partnership.
  • Control profit and loss and balance sheet activities within the monthly reporting cycle.
