A well-regarded business is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Finance Manager to oversee its day-to-day financial operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong Xero experience and a practical approach to managing company finances. This role is a part time position for 16 hours a week, and would be based from the office.
As the incoming Finance Manager you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Managing invoicing, credit control, and supplier payments
- Reconciling accounts, bank statements, credit cards, and expenses
- Producing job costings using Xero nominal codes
- Supporting payroll processes (via external accountants)
- Preparing monthly reports and P&L accounts using Xero
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, with a sound understanding of accounting principles and a sharp eye for detail. Xero expertise is essential, alongside strong communication and organisational skills. A relevant degree or qualification (e.g. AAT, CIMA, ACCA) would be beneficial.
