We are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager on behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Cambridge. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
You will be based in the office 4 days a week with 1 day from home, this role is 37.5 hours per week but your working hours are flexible and can work around your requirements within reason.
This role will report into the CFO and will have responsibility for 2 finance administrators. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance function and play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Manage financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and debt control.
- Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, including intercompany transactions.
- Process global payrolls across EMEA, US, and APAC, ensuring accurate commission calculations.
- Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis.
You must have proven experience within a finance management or management accountant role and have experience of managing a small team. Ideally, you will be ACCA or CIMA qualified; however, this is not essential and qualified by experience will also be considered. You must be comfortable using Excel to intermediate level and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
