We’re supporting a well-established organisation with the appointment of a Solutions Architect to help shape and deliver robust, scalable technology solutions. Working as part of a collaborative IT function, you’ll play a key role in bridging business requirements with technical delivery across a varied systems landscape.
This is a hands-on position with strategic influence, suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple projects, engaging stakeholders, and driving solution design from concept through to implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Design end-to-end solutions that align with business needs and long-term technology strategy
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into scalable, supportable architectures
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions
- Provide technical guidance across projects, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practice
- Assess current systems and identify opportunities for optimisation, integration or modernisation
- Ensure solutions meet security, governance and compliance requirements
- Produce and maintain clear architectural documentation
- Support continuous improvement of design standards, tooling and delivery processes
- Proven experience in a Solutions Architect or Senior Technical role within a complex environment
- Broad technical background across applications, systems and infrastructure
- Experience working with cloud-based and on-premise solutions within hybrid environments
- Strong understanding of system integration approaches and architectural patterns
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience operating within structured delivery and governance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with a track record of delivering value
