We're supporting a growing manufacturing business in their search for a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a busy fabrication operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or production environments who enjoys leading teams, driving performance, and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained at all times. Core Duties: Supervising daily fabrication activities to ensure production targets are achievedManaging workloads, production schedules, attendance, and resource allocationCoordinating with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of work through productionProviding leadership, coaching, and support to team membersEnsuring products meet required specifications and quality standardsInvestigating and addressing quality issues, defects, and non-conformancesDriving continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication processes and working practicesIdentifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and process repeatabilityPromoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, housekeeping, and 5SCommunicating effectively with management, colleagues, and production teams to ensure operational objectives are metAbout You: Previous supervisory, team leader, or people management experience within a manufacturing or engineering environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support a teamExcellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilitiesExperience within fabrication, mechanical engineering, or a similar production environment would be advantageousAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructionsA proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellenceStrong understanding of health and safety within a production environmentThis is an urgent requirement, and applications will be reviewed at speed.
