If so, this newly created Management Accountant position is for you, as you will join a dynamic finance team and work closely with the Finance Director to support continued growth and performance.
Key Responsibilities
As the Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance function, including:
- Supporting the Finance Director in the overall management of the finance department.
- Managing the accounts payable process and weekly multi-currency payment runs .
- Preparing monthly management accounts and quarterly VAT returns .
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting , and cash flow analysis .
- Providing insights on property and overhead costs and driving cost-saving initiatives .
- Assisting with the year-end audit , liaising with auditors and tax advisors.
- Supporting the renewal of maintenance and energy contracts .
- Offering backup support to the payroll department as needed.
- Key Requirements
- A qualified accountant (AAT or equivalent), with 3+ years of management accounting experience .
- Experience with payroll processes is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to cost control , compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Confidence in solving complex problems with a logical mindset.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
