This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to lead transactional finance operations, drive process improvements, and play a key role in supporting the organisation's financial performance.
The Opportunity
This is a visible role that combines operational leadership with continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work closely with both UK-based stakeholders and an international Shared Service Centre, ensuring strong service delivery, effective cash flow management, and the ongoing development of transactional finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams, setting clear objectives and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee credit control activities, driving effective debt collection and customer credit risk management.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer invoicing, credit notes, supplier payments, and cashiering activities.
- Manage cash allocation, bank reconciliations, and supplier account reconciliations.
- Monitor aged debtors and creditors, taking proactive action to optimise working capital performance.
- Act as a finance contact for the international Shared Service Centre.
- Develop and report on operational performance metrics across transactional finance activities.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.
- Support month-end, year-end, audit, forecasting, and business planning activities.
- Contribute to effective governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
