An established professional services firm is seeking a Tax Senior to join its growing Trusts & Estates team in Ipswich.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified tax professional looking to develop their career within a specialist area of private client taxation.
Working alongside experienced managers and partners, you will gain exposure to a varied portfolio of trusts, estates and private clients while building your technical expertise and client management skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of a portfolio of trust and estate clients.
- Prepare trust and estate tax returns accurately and within deadlines.
- Support the delivery of tax advisory projects for private clients, trustees and executors.
- Liaise with clients and professional advisers to obtain information and resolve queries.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service.
- Monitor work progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies within the team.
- Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative working environment.
- Assist with business development initiatives and networking events where appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of trust and estate taxation.
About You
- Previous experience within a tax, trust or private client environment.
- An understanding of trust and estate taxation.
- ATT qualified, ATT studying, or qualified by experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
