About the Role
As Senior Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting and developing a small purchasing team, ensuring smooth day to day operations and driving continuous improvement. You’ll lead on supplier performance management, resolve escalated issues, and contribute to shaping more efficient processes across the function. Your leadership will help enhance capability within the team through regular coaching, mentoring and structured one-to-ones, while maintaining strong commercial focus across pricing reviews and supplier negotiations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing the purchasing team to strengthen capability across the department
- Managing escalated queries and delivering prompt, effective resolutions
- Building and maintaining productive supplier relationships, implementing improvement plans where needed

About You
