The Opportunity
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of external financial reporting. Working closely with senior leadership and a wide network of finance stakeholders, you’ll contribute to business-critical decisions and strategic initiatives. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support statutory and external reporting, including group and subsidiary accounts
- Partner with auditors to deliver a smooth and efficient external audit process
- Provide guidance on technical accounting matters, including complex judgements and policy development
- Own and deliver impairment modelling across key balance sheet areas
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting to the Group and wider stakeholders
- Contribute to budgeting and long-term planning, including debt and interest forecasts
- Drive process improvement and automation across reporting activities
- Play a key role in finance projects (e.g. structural simplification, system/process enhancements)
- Build strong relationships across finance, leadership teams, and external partners
- Line manage and develop a junior team member, fostering a high-performance culture
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in technical accounting and external reporting
- Proven ability to work with auditors and complex group structures
- Confident communicator — able to translate technical detail into clear, actionable insight
