New opportunity Pure are working with a well-established and growing FMCG group with UK and international operations to appoint a Group Management Accountant to join its Finance Team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a key role within a dynamic and expanding organisation, responsible for ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and effective cash management across the Group.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Reporting & Performance: Prepare and review monthly management accounts and performance reports, ensuring accurate financial insights for decision-making.
- Financial Control: Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and procedures, ensuring compliance with policy and operational efficiency.
- Compliance: Support the preparation of statutory accounts, audit coordination, and timely submission of tax and VAT returns.
- Cash Management: Produce rolling cashflow forecasts and manage banking relationships to ensure liquidity and operational funding requirements are met.
- Purchase Ledger Oversight: Supervise the purchase ledger team, ensuring timely invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations, and accurate reporting.
- Treasury Management: Ensure effective control of treasury activities, including FX transactions, covenant reporting, and bank MI reporting.
- Payroll: Liaise with external payroll providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Strong technical accounting skills and experience working in a multi-entity or international environment an advantage.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a small team.
- Excellent understanding of ERP and financial systems.
