Job Description

  • Assistant Accountant
  • Fakenham
  • 9-5pm Monday to Friday

A progressive role has arisen with a growing business for an Assistant Accountant to work closely with the Financial Controller.

The role

  • Assist with month-end activities, monthly reporting, journals, accruals and prepayments.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliation & cash management
  • Year-end assistance, closing the ledger, preparing schedules and maintaining financial controls.
  • Produce regular financial reports to support decision-making.
  • Use accounting/ERP systems confidently and contribute to process improvements.

  • Experience within a similar role

  • High attention to detail and comfortable working to month-end deadlines
  • Good communication skills.
