The Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting to support operational decision-making. The role is responsible for producing management accounts, detailed cost and margin analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and driving continuous improvement through systems, controls, and automation. This varied role will utilise the Company's core values of teamwork, customer service and commercial responsibility to deliver high-quality information to support the business through strategic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including full variance analysis
  • Regular review of overheads to ensure costs are accurately captured, and variances to budget are clearly understood.
  • Completion of month-end stock and work in progress (WIP) reconciliations, investigation, and resolution of variances.
  • Processing of month-end accruals and prepayments, ensuring robust supporting documentation.
  • Margin analysis by customer and product, including Cost of Sales updates.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and improvement of standard costing and pricing systems.
  • Assist the FC with the accurate costing and pricing of non-standard products and support in the development of Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Regular margin reviews across all products.
  • Maintenance of costing and pricing matrices.
