I am currently working with a highly respected building services firm that specialises in air handling solutions. They are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team and take ownership of cost planning for their core product range. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong estimating experience in mechanical services or HVAC to step into a well-supported role that offers stability, variety, and genuine career progression.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for preparing competitive cost estimates for core HVAC products, working closely with engineering, procurement, and project delivery teams. This role is crucial to ensuring bids are commercially sound and aligned with both client expectations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing detailed cost estimates from technical drawings and project specifications.
- Collaborating with project engineers and stakeholders to clarify project scope.
- Reviewing and analysing supplier/subcontractor quotations.
- Preparing cost breakdowns, including materials, labour, and overheads.
- Supporting project reviews, contract evaluations, and change orders.
- Managing documentation related to bids, estimates, and proposals.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.

- Strong estimating background, ideally within HVAC or building services.
