Working closely with operational leaders and managing a team, you’ll be instrumental in driving both commercial success and financial best practice.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely weekly and monthly financial reports and management information, conducting variance analysis, and identifying trends to drive profitability and cash flow improvements.
You will implement and maintain robust financial controls to ensure audit readiness and compliance with corporate policies.
Working closely with business leaders, you will support the development of budgets and forecasts aligned with strategic objectives.
A key part of the role involves building financial awareness across the business by training non-financial managers, as well as line managing and developing Finance Managers to foster a high-performing team.
Additionally, you will provide expert financial input to support new contracts and business projects, while maintaining strong relationships across the sector and with key external stakeholders.
You will be an experienced senior finance professional, ideally with a background in complex, multi-site, or operational environments.
With strong analytical and commercial acumen, you are confident in influencing stakeholders at all levels and providing strategic insight.
You have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, driving results, and supporting the development of others.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, you have a continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
