A leading industry provider is continuing to scale and invest in data-driven decision-making, creating a new opportunity for a Management Accountant with strong SQL and analytical skills to join our growing finance team. This role blends traditional management accounting with advanced data analysis. You will work closely with operational and commercial teams, transforming complex data into meaningful insight that drives performance and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Produce monthly management accounts and cost centre reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Use SQL to extract and analyse large datasets
- Build automated reporting and performance dashboards
- Analyse operational and commercial drivers (utilisation, margins, efficiency)
- Provide insight for pricing, investment, and operational decisions
- Support year-end audit processes
Skills & Experience:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Strong management accounting background
- Advanced SQL and Excel skills
- Experience with large datasets; BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) desirable
- Analytical, commercially aware, and confident communicating insights
